Kerala CM Satheesan tables white paper on State finances, says people have right to know

Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Thursday tabled a White Paper on the state's finances in the Assembly, emphasising that citizens have the right to know the actual financial position of the government.

Presenting the document, Satheesan said the White Paper aims to bring transparency and provide a comprehensive assessment of Kerala's fiscal health. He noted that the report would help the public understand the state's revenue, expenditure, debt burden and overall economic challenges.

The Chief Minister said the government is committed to financial accountability and informed policymaking, adding that the White Paper would serve as a basis for future economic decisions and reforms.
