KCL expands to 10 teams with entry of Jind Jaguars, Kurukshetra Knights

The Kabaddi Champions League (KCL) will expand to 10 teams in its second season with the addition of two new franchises, Jind Jaguars and Kurukshetra Knights.

KCL chairman Balwan Singh said the entry of the two teams would provide players with greater opportunities to compete at a high level and contribute to the development of kabaddi talent.

"The addition of Jind Jaguars and Kurukshetra Knights strengthens the KCL ecosystem. It is a positive step for the league and for the development of kabaddi talent," Singh said.

The organisers said the second season would build on the foundation laid by the inaugural edition, with a focus on talent development and further strengthening the franchise-based structure.

The expansion to 10 teams is expected to provide a wider platform for kabaddi players and strengthen the league's competitive ecosystem.
