India emerging as a Trusted Partner to the World: PM Modi in Paris

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India is emerging as a “trusted partner” for the world, highlighting the country's growing role in global supply chains, innovation, technology and economic growth.
Addressing the Indian diaspora in Paris during his visit to France, Modi said that trust has become as important as trade in today’s interconnected world. He noted that countries are looking for reliable long-term partners, and India is increasingly being seen as a dependable nation for cooperation across sectors.
The Prime Minister said India is making significant investments in areas that will drive future growth, innovation and opportunities for coming generations. He pointed to the country’s progress in space exploration, digital infrastructure and emerging technologies as examples of its rising global stature.

Modi also highlighted the expansion of India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in France and referred to ongoing trade and economic partnerships with major global economies. He said India’s message at international forums has consistently emphasized inclusive growth, trusted technology and collaborative global governance.
Emphasising the strength of India-France relations, the Prime Minister described the partnership between the two countries as a pillar of trust, stability and cooperation during a period of global uncertainty. He said collaboration between New Delhi and Paris continues to expand across innovation, technology, defence and strategic sectors.
