IGDTUW launches BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security)

Reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence and technological innovation, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) has launched a new B.Tech. programme in Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security) from the Academic Session 2026-27.  The programme has been introduced in response to the rapidly growing demand for skilled professionals who can protect the nation’s digital infrastructure and address emerging cyber threats. It has an approved intake of 77 students through JAC Delhi admissions.

With the rapid expansion of Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, digital payments, smart manufacturing, IoT, e-governance and critical infrastructure, cyber security has become one of the most sought-after domains worldwide. Governments, multinational corporations, financial institutions, defence organisations, healthcare systems and technology companies are increasingly investing in cyber resilience, creating unprecedented career opportunities for professionals in this field.
