IDFC FIRST Bank reports highest-ever Q1 PAT of Rs 1,075 crore, up 132.4% YoY

IDFC FIRST Bank has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting its highest-ever quarterly Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 1,075 crore, a 132.4 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase from Rs 463 crore in Q1 FY26. Total Customer Business (Loans and Customer Deposits) grew 18.6 per cent YoY to Rs 6,04,776 crore.
Loans and Advances rose 20.6 per cent YoY to Rs 3,05,370 crore, driven by growth in mortgage, vehicle, corporate and consumer loans. Customer Deposits increased 16.6 per cent YoY to Rs 2,99,405 crore, while CASA Deposits grew 24.6 per cent YoY, taking the CASA ratio to 50.8 per cent. The Bank also reported improved asset quality, with Gross NPA declining to 1.51 per cent and Net NPA improving to 0.44 per cent.
Commenting on the results, V Vaidyanathan, MD & CEO, IDFC FIRST Bank, said, “At the core, we are building a high-quality banking institution with high governance standards. We are seeing strong business momentum, improving asset quality and operating leverage. Our long-term investments are translating into stronger profitability, with PAT reaching Rs 1,075 crore and ROA crossing 1 per cent.”
