Gurugram techie found dead at Mussoorie Homestay during vacation with husband

A 27-year-old software engineer from Delhi, working in Gurugram, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a homestay in Mussoorie while on vacation with her husband. The incident came to light on Monday morning when she was discovered unresponsive in her room at the property located along the Mussoorie–Dhanaulti road.
According to reports, the couple had checked into the homestay late on June 14 after travelling from Delhi via Rishikesh. They were staying together in the room when the incident occurred during the night. The woman was later found in a critical condition by her husband, who alerted the homestay staff.
Medical teams were immediately called to the spot, but she was declared dead on arrival. Police have since launched a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. Initial reports suggest the presence of blood stains in the room, prompting forensic examination and further inquiry.
Authorities are currently recording statements from the husband and other individuals associated with the homestay. The exact cause of death will be determined after the postmortem report and forensic analysis.
