GDA demolishes illegal Colony being developed in enforcement Zone-02

In compliance with the directions of the Vice-Chairman, Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), and as part of the ongoing action against illegal constructions and unauthorised colonies, demolition action was carried out under the leadership of the In-Charge, Enforcement Zone-02 and Chetan Yadav.

At the site located at Shahpur Road, Radha Garden, Muradnagar, unauthorised plotting had been carried out on approximately 4,000 square metres of land by constructing masonry structures and laying soil on the road. No valid approval or land records were produced at the site. Accordingly, demolition action was taken against the unauthorised development. The road, boundary wall, site office and other structures constructed by the coloniser as part of the illegal colony were demolished. During the demolition operation, the coloniser/builder strongly resisted the action.

However, the situation was brought under control with the assistance of the Authority’s police force, and the demolition operation continued. The demolition action was carried out in the presence of the assistant engineer, junior engineer, all staff of Enforcement Zone-02, the authority's police force and the authority's enforcement squad.

The campaign against illegal constructions and unauthorised colonies will continue, and further demolition and sealing actions will also be carried out in the coming months.
