FOWA organises inspiring Earth Day programme to promote Environmental awareness

The Forest Officers' Wives Association (FOWA) organised a grand and inspiring programme on the occasion of Earth Day 2026, aimed at promoting environmental conservation and awareness.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members, children, and invited guests, creating an atmosphere of collective responsibility towards protecting the planet.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the guests, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Vishakha Verma delivered the welcome address, highlighting the significance of Earth Day and the importance of community participation in safeguarding the environment.

A felicitation ceremony was held to honour the distinguished guests, who also shared their insightful thoughts on the theme of Earth Day.
