CM Fadnavis mocks Rahul Gandhi’s NDA fall prediction as ‘Daydream’

A fresh political exchange has emerged after Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reacted strongly to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s reported remarks predicting the fall of the NDA government within a year.
Fadnavis dismissed the statement and compared it to “Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne,” a popular phrase used to describe unrealistic dreams or imaginary situations.
Speaking to reporters in Nagpur, Fadnavis said Rahul Gandhi’s comments were nothing more than imagination and did not reflect the current political reality.
He emphasized that the ruling alliance remains stable and confident about its position.
The remarks came after reports claimed that Rahul Gandhi had predicted the collapse of the Narendra Modi-led government in the near future.
The latest comments have added to the ongoing political confrontation between the BJP-led NDA and the opposition Congress party.
Leaders from both sides have frequently exchanged criticism over governance, electoral prospects, and future political developments.
Political observers believe such statements are likely to intensify debate ahead of upcoming elections and continue shaping the narrative between the ruling alliance and opposition parties.
