CM Rekha inaugurates two new slip road bridges in East Delhi

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, along with Delhi BJP president and Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Harsh Malhotra, inaugurated two newly constructed 2-lane slip road bridges over the Ghazipur Drain and Hindon Canal in Kondli, East Delhi, on Thursday.
After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the newly constructed bridges along with the dignitaries.
She was briefed on the structure of the bridges, traffic arrangements and the work undertaken to improve connectivity in the area. She was accompanied by Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh, Patparganj MLA Ravindra Singh Negi and Trilokpuri MLA Ravi Kant and senior officials. In an X post, the chief minister said the new connectivity will make commuting easier for lakhs of people in Kondli, Kalyanpuri, Ghazipur and surrounding areas, reduce traffic pressure, and help save time.
“Our effort is to ensure that the benefits of development in Delhi are directly visible in people’s daily lives. Through better roads, smoother traffic and modern connectivity, our Government is continuously improving the ease of living for Delhi residents,” she said. The Kondli project is another important step towards a better-connected, smoother and more developed Delhi.
Work is being carried out continuously across different parts of Delhi to improve road infrastructure while also ensuring safe and smooth traffic movement.
