CJP founder Abhijit Dipke names Ajinkya Shinde to lead Jantar Mantar protest amid detention

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Dipke said the organisation’s in-charge, Ajinkya Shinde, would lead its proposed protest at Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar for as long as he and two other leaders remained in detention.
In a post on X on Saturday, Dipke said he had recorded a video in advance on Friday night, anticipating a possible arrest.
He urged supporters watching the video to follow Shinde, indicating that he, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka might be detained.
Dipke, Das and Ranka were detained by Delhi Police from inside an aircraft shortly after it landed in the national capital, according to information shared by the organisation.
The three leaders had travelled from Mumbai to Delhi to participate in the proposed protest against Kumar over allegations of voter-list manipulation during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and changes relating to Form 6, which is used for voter registration.
