Bank of India felicitates Green Warriors at 121st Foundation Day

As part of the celebrations marking the 121st Foundation Day of Bank of India, the Bank of India, Thiruvallam branch organised a special outreach programme to felicitate the Green Warriors - members of the Haritha Karma Sena, in recognition of their valuable contribution towards maintaining a clean and sustainable environment.
As part of the programme, the Haritha Karma Sena members were felicitated and provided with QR tags, as an initiative to promote awareness about digital banking and cashless transactions among the community. The initiative aims to encourage the wider adoption of secure and convenient digital payment methods and strengthen financial and digital awareness at the grassroots level.
The programme was chaired by Neil Suresh, Branch Manager, and Sudheesh Achuthan Nair, Chairman, BNV Hospital, was the chief guest of the programme.
Rajimol, Secretary, Haritha Karma Sena, Punchakkari Ward, expressed her gratitude to Bank of India for this thoughtful gesture and for recognising the valuable services rendered by the Bank of India. She appreciated the Bank’s continued support and initiatives, which have encouraged and helped the Haritha Karma Sena members to strive towards becoming one of the best-performing Haritha Karma Sena units*.
The programme highlighted the Bank’s commitment to extending its services beyond traditional banking and actively engaging with local communities through meaningful outreach initiatives. The contribution of the Haritha Karma Sena members towards waste management, environmental cleanliness and sustainable development was also acknowledged and appreciated.
