ALIMCO’s Deepak Kumar Kanaujia wins 4 medals at UP State Shooting Championship

Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), a public sector enterprise under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, has congratulated its employee, Deepak Kumar Kanaujia, for winning one gold and three silver medals at the 49th UP State Shooting Championship.
The championship was held at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi, where Kanaujia competed in the SH1 category of para shooting.
He secured the gold medal in the 50-metre Rifle 3 Positions (SH1) event and won silver medals in the 10-metre Standing Rifle (SH1), 10-metre Prone Rifle (SH1), and 50-metre Rifle Prone (SH1) events.
ALIMCO said Kanaujia’s performance reflects his dedication, discipline and excellence in para shooting.
The corporation described the achievement as a matter of pride and said it highlights its commitment to promoting an inclusive environment that enables persons with disabilities to excel in sports as well as other fields.
Congratulating Kanaujia, ALIMCO Chairman and Managing Director said his success would inspire aspiring para-athletes across the country and expressed confidence that he would continue to bring recognition to both the organisation and the nation through his achievements.
