39 injured as bus carrying Amarnath Yatra pilgrims skids off road in J-K

Several Amarnath Yatra pilgrims were injured when their bus skidded off the road in the Kangan area of Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Tuesday, PTI reported.

The bus fell onto a house at Hariganwan after the driver lost control while navigating a curve. The house, which was severly damaged, prevented the bus from rolling into the Sindh river, says official.

Thankfully, no one was inside the house at the time of the accident.

Most of the pilgrims suffered minor injuries and were evacuated by locals and security personnel to a nearby hospital for treatment, they said.
