32 critically ill from Satna receive Rs 75.78 lakh from PM’s relief fund

Reflecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to ensuring that no citizen is denied medical treatment due to financial constraints, a total financial assistance of Rs 75.78 lakh has been sanctioned from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the treatment of 32 critically ill patients from the Satna Parliamentary Constituency. The assistance was approved across various cases between December 9, 2024, and June 9, 2026.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Satna Member of Parliament Ganesh Singh said that the Prime Minister’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” is not merely a slogan but a commitment that brings hope and relief to poor, distressed and vulnerable families. He noted that through the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, the Central Government has provided timely financial support to families battling life-threatening illnesses, setting example of compassionate and people-centric governance.
MP Ganesh Singh stated that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, governance today is focused not only on designing welfare schemes but also on ensuring that their benefits effectively reach the last person in the queue. He described PMNRF as a powerful manifestation of this humane approach, providing economically weaker families with both financial support and hope during medical emergencies.
Among the 32 beneficiaries, 20 are men and 12 are women. Nearly 72 per cent of the patients were suffering from cancer, while financial assistance was also sanctioned for patients requiring renal transplants, bone marrow transplants, treatment for aplastic anaemia, cochlear implants, thalassemia major, and other critical medical procedures.
MP Ganesh Singh reiterated that, under the guidance of PM Modi, he remains committed to ensuring that every eligible and needy citizen in the Satna Parliamentary Constituency receives the benefits of the Central Government’s welfare initiatives. He appealed to residents to approach the MP’s office in cases of serious illness and avail themselves of assistance under the PM’s National Relief Fund.
