Travelling across North India, Lakshminarayan seeks answers to questions surrounding life, death and human suffering. His journey eventually leads to his transformation into the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba, whose teachings centred on love, service and compassion and touched countless lives.

The film stars Shobhinaw Satya in the lead role, alongside Vihaan Shedge, Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey and Bhagvandas, among others.

According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, "Hanuman Ansh" has grossed Rs 156.63 crore at the domestic box office.

Released in Indian theatres on August 7, the film had a slow beginning, recording modest collections during its first two weeks. It subsequently picked up momentum on the strength of positive word-of-mouth.
