Siddaramaiah silent amidst Karnataka leadership change speculation, says “We’ll Talk Tomorrow”

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has maintained silence amid intensified speculation over a possible leadership change in the state, saying that he would respond to the matter later.
When asked about reports suggesting a potential shift in leadership within the Karnataka government, Siddaramaiah avoided detailed comments and said, “We’ll talk about it tomorrow,” indicating that a clarification may follow after internal discussions.
The remarks come at a time when political uncertainty has grown within the Congress party in Karnataka, with discussions reportedly ongoing at the party’s central leadership level regarding the state’s top post.
According to multiple reports, senior Congress leaders have been holding a series of meetings with both Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar in Delhi and Bengaluru to assess the political situation and future leadership options.
The speculation has been fueled by internal party consultations, with indications that a decision on Karnataka’s leadership structure could be taken soon. However, official statements from Congress leaders have so far downplayed the reports, calling them premature and speculative.
Siddaramaiah’s brief response has added further intrigue to the evolving political situation, as both supporters and opponents await clarity on whether a leadership transition is being considered.
