RITES, NHIDCL collaborate to boost highway, other infra projects
RITES Limited on Wednesday said it has signed an agreement with National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) to provide specialised consultancy and technical support for planning, development, and construction of highway projects across the north-east.
Under the agreement, RITES said in a statement that it will provide a broad spectrum of consultancy services, including preparation of detailed project reports (DPRs) for highways and tunnels, external technical audits and third-party quality assurance, along with Authority Engineering services for highway, tunnel, and slope stability projects.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) establishes a framework to enhance project planning, engineering excellence, construction quality, and safety standards across NHIDCL’s infrastructure portfolio, it added.
