Ravindra Jadeja returns as India announce Test Squad for Sri Lanka Tour

Veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was recalled and Saransh Jain received his maiden call-up as India announced a 15-member squad Tuesday for the two-Test series against Sri Lanka.

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and top-order batter B Sai Sudharsan were also named in the squad, but their availability is subject to fitness clearance from the BCCI Centre of Excellence.

All-rounder Washington Sundar was unavailable for selection for the first Test after sustaining an injury during India's white-ball tour of England earlier this month.

The first Test will be played in Galle from Aug. 15-19, followed by the second in Colombo from Aug. 23-27. The series is part of the World Test Championship cycle.
