Rahul to Modi : 200 officers in your government are passing information to us

Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Monday, October 12, claimed that about 200 officers within the government are in touch with the Opposition and passing information to it. He made the claim at a press conference in Delhi as the INDIA bloc’s protest over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls continued.
“I want to tell PM Modi, 200 officers from within your govt are in touch with us. They are passing on information to us,” Gandhi said.
He also claimed that 50 per cent of police personnel were telling the Opposition that what it was doing was right and that it should continue. He said he was counting them.
Gandhi criticised the restrictions imposed in Delhi ahead of the INDIA bloc’s planned march. He said the government had made a grave mistake by protecting Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. He called on supporters to join the march at 1:30 pm.
