Radio Highway Pallel inspires youth through stories of local achievers
Radio Highway Pallel, the community radio station established at the Pallel Garrison of Assam Rifles, is emerging as a platform for youth empowerment by showcasing the success stories of distinguished personalities from Manipur who have made their mark on national and international stages.
Through a series of inspirational programmes, the station is promoting constructive dialogue on peace, development, prosperity and progress while encouraging young people to pursue excellence in their chosen fields. The initiative aims to motivate the region’s youth by highlighting the achievements of homegrown talents who have overcome challenges to achieve success.
Following the recent broadcast featuring renowned Manipuri astrophysicist Dr Ronaldo Laishram, Radio Highway Pallel has recorded a special podcast with Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) star Chungreng Koren. Popularly known as “The Indian Rhino,” Koren has represented India at various national and international competitions and recently gained recognition for his advancement in the prestigious Road to UFC tournament.
The podcast, scheduled to be released on June 11, will provide listeners with an insight into Koren’s journey in professional MMA. During the session, he shares the challenges he faced in his career and emphasizes the importance of discipline, perseverance, determination and hard work in achieving success.
