PM Modi urges productive monsoon session, says Parliament should prioritise national welfare

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a constructive and productive Monsoon Session of Parliament, urging all political parties to work together in the interest of the nation. Addressing the media before the session began on Monday, the Prime Minister said Parliament should focus on meaningful debates and legislation that contribute to the country's development and the welfare of its citizens.

PM Modi highlighted India's recent achievements across sectors, including innovation, infrastructure, manufacturing, and space technology, stating that the country has earned global recognition through the efforts of its young talent. He expressed confidence that the Monsoon Session would provide an opportunity to discuss issues that matter to the people and strengthen India's growth journey. The Prime Minister also urged lawmakers to maintain dignity and ensure smooth proceedings throughout the session.

The Monsoon Session is expected to witness intense debates, with the government planning to introduce several key Bills, while the opposition is likely to raise issues such as the NEET paper leak, the Ram Mandir donation controversy, delimitation, and other national concerns. Despite the expected political differences, PM Modi appealed for cooperation to ensure Parliament functions effectively and delivers results for the public.
