PM Modi congratulates BJP’s newly appointed office-bearers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the newly appointed national office-bearers of the BJP, saying the team brings together organisational experience, energy and grassroots connect. His Cabinet colleagues, including Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Nitin Gadkari and Kiren Rijiju, also congratulated the team.
The BJP has announced its new national team under party president Nitin Nabin, appointing 13 vice presidents, including Ram Madhav, Lok Sabha MP D Purandeshwari and former Uttarakhand chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat.
“Congratulations to the newly appointed national office bearers of the BJP and those who have been given various responsibilities in the party. This newly appointed team brings together organisational experience, energy and grassroots connect,” Modi said on social media.
The prime minister said he was confident the new team will give their best in strengthening the BJP and focusing on public service. “My best wishes to them,” he said.
In a post, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said the new team would play an important role in further strengthening the organisation while remaining fully committed to public service and the welfare of the poor.
He expressed confidence that the team would work with full focus and dedication towards building a developed India, with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
Home Minister Shah expressed confidence that the team would take the spirit of ‘Nation First’ to every individual.
“Heartiest congratulations to all the newly appointed national office-bearers of the BJP. I am fully confident that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and National President Shri @NitinNabin ji, the new team will work with full energy to further strengthen and expand the organisation, to take the spirit of ‘Nation First’ to every individual, and to realise the resolve of ‘Developed India’,” Shah said on social media.
Nadda, the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilisers, said the team, under the guidance of Modi and Nabin, would take the BJP to new heights.
“I extend my heartiest congratulations to all the newly appointed national office-bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The guidance of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and the able leadership of the National President Shri @NitinNabin ji will take the entire organisation to new heights.
“At the same time, they will play a pivotal role in implementing the Modi Government’s policies for national and public welfare on the ground, in line with the vision of ‘Developed India-2047’,” he said.
Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport and Highways, said, “Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of National President Nitin Nabin, I am confident that this dynamic team will bring renewed energy, strengthen the organisation at every level and contribute meaningfully to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.”
Union Minister for Education, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi said the new team brings renewed strength and momentum to the BJP, with experience, energy and a deep commitment to the organisation.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Manohar Lal, Sarbananda Sonowal, Virendra Kumar, Giriraj Singh, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and Annpurna Devi, among other Union ministers, also congratulated the new team and wished them success in strengthening the party.
Congratulating his new team, the BJP president said he was confident that every member, with the spirit of a dedicated karyakarta, would further strengthen the organisation and take forward the resolve of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ and the commitment to nation-building to new heights.
The party has retained B L Santhosh as National General Secretary (Organisation) and brought in former Union minister Smriti Irani and ex-Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in its team of eight national general secretaries, according to the list released by the party.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal has been appointed national treasurer. Vinod Tawde and Sunil Bansal are the only two national general secretaries retained in the new team.
The BJP has brought in many new faces, including Kavita Patidar, K Surendran, Sandeep Pathak and Manoj Tigga, in its team of 16 national secretaries from different states.
The party has also replaced Amit Malviya as its social media head with Deepak Mhaskey.
