NTPC concludes national finale of Medha Pratiyogita 2026

NTPC Ltd successfully concluded the national finale of Medha Pratiyogita 2026 at its Power Management Institute (PMI), Noida, with 24 teams competing across four categories-Junior, Middle, Senior and Employee.
The annual flagship event witnessed participation from 1,863 teams from across NTPC projects and regions, providing a platform for employees and their families to compete in a spirit of healthy competition.
The competition commenced with the Unit/Project-level Written Round on July 12, 2026, followed by regional rounds held at Korba, Ramagundam, Talcher Kaniha, Nabinagar, Dadri and PMI, Noida. The event culminated in the National Finale on Tuesday.
The National Finale was contested by six teams in each of the four categories, taking the total number of participating finalist teams to 24.
The winners in the four categories were:
- Junior: Ahaan and Devayansh Singh — Western Region
- Middle: Utkarsh Parikh and Darsh Jain — Northern Region
- Senior: Tanmay Verma and Harshit Sharma — Northern Region
- Employee: Anshuman Shrivastav and Shubham Mishra — Western Region
Each winning team was awarded Rs 30,000 in prize money, along with a Certificate of Excellence. The awards were presented by Shri Anil Kumar Jadli, Director (HR), NTPC Ltd.
Medha Pratiyogita is one of NTPC’s annual flagship initiatives that promotes a culture of learning among its employees and their families.
