NMDC co-hosts CVC training programme in Hyderabad

The Vigilance Department of NMDC Limited co-hosted the Training of Trainers Programme conducted by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) on 17 September 2026 at Hyderabad on “Master Circulars and Vigilance Manual 2026” for Vigilance Officers of organisations in the South Zone.
The programme was virtually addressed by the chief guest, Praveen Kumar Sinha, Former Special Director, CBI, who emphasised the significance of the CVC Master Circulars and the need for revision of the Vigilance Manual. He also highlighted the importance of rotation of personnel holding sensitive posts as an important preventive vigilance measure.
The occasion was graced by Rajiv Verma, Consultant, CVC; Ajai Kumar Verma, Director, CVC; and Arvind Kumar, OSD, CVC, along with Spurthi Reddy, CVO, MIDHANI & BDL; P Krishna Kumar, CVO, ECIL; and C Neelakanta Reddy, CVO, NMDC Limited.
The distinguished speakers from the CVC provided an overview of the Vigilance Manual 2026, highlighting the key changes and their implications for vigilance administration. They also elaborated on the recently issued CVC Master Circulars, covering their important provisions and practical relevance. The sessions were highly interactive, with the experts addressing participants’ queries and offering valuable clarifications through insightful discussions.
Around 75 vigilance officers and representatives from organisations of the South Zone participated in the programme. The sessions enhanced participants’ understanding of the updated vigilance framework and provided practical insights to promote consistency in vigilance practices and strengthen institutional capacity.
