Monsoon session Of Gujarat Assembly scheduled September 8-10

The Monsoon session of the Gujarat assembly will be held from September 8 to 10, Speaker Shankar Chaudhary announced on Monday.

Addressing reporters in Gandhinagar, Chaudhary said Governor Acharya Devvrat has convened the ninth session of the 15th Gujarat assembly.

The session will transact government business, including the introduction and passage of government bills, discussion on official business and other matters approved by the Business Advisory Committee, he said.

Chaudhary said MLAs will be able to raise issues concerning their respective constituencies during the session.

Legislators can submit their questions online for the Question Hour for one week from the announcement date so that they can be taken up during the session, he added.
