Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Goa on Monday to campaign for his party’s candidate in the Ponda bypoll scheduled for April 9.
Party leaders said he will be meeting renowned seer Swami Brahmeshanand in Kundaim near Ponda and visit St. Anne's Church on Tuesday. The former Delhi chief minister will address a public meeting in Ponda on Wednesday, they added. Businessman Geetesh Naik is AAP’s candidate for the Ponda bypoll. He will take on BJP’s Ritesh Naik, son of former agriculture minister Ravi Naik, whose death necessitated the bypoll. The Congress has fielded physiotherapist Dr Ketan Bhatikar.
