Jeevdaya Year campaign to be launched

A resolve to make Delhi a City of Jeevdaya, the ‘Jeevdaya Year’ campaign will be launched with the commencement of Chaturmas. Throughout the year, a series of initiatives dedicated to compassion for all living beings will be undertaken, including animal welfare, cow protection and care, Abhaydaan (granting protection to living beings), bird and wildlife conservation, veterinary assistance, environmental protection, tree plantation, and various public awareness and community service programmes.
The campaign aims to develop Delhi as a “City of Compassion (Jeevdaya Nagari)” while strengthening the values of compassion and non-violence. Under the auspices of the Delhi Gujarati Shwetambar Murtipujak Jain Sangh (Regd.), the Grand Chaturmas Pravesh Mahotsav of the revered disciple group of Pujya Adhyatmayogi Acharyadev Shrimad Vijay Kalapurn Surishwar Ji Maharaj will be celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm on Sunday, July 12.
The Chaturmas will be held at Shri Delhi Gujarati Kunthunath Trust (Regd.), Zone H-4/5, Shri Atma Vallabh Vidya Mandir (Jain Pathshala), Shri Kalyan Parshvanath Jain Mandir Marg, Parwana Road, Pitampura, Delhi.
In the Indian spiritual tradition, Chaturmas is regarded as a sacred period dedicated to self-realisation, penance, discipline, scriptural study, non-violence, and compassion for all living beings. During this auspicious period, the revered Jain monks will inspire devotees to embrace righteousness, compassion, self-discipline, and moral values.
Pujya Munishri Tirthtarak Vijayji Maharaj Saheb, through his inspiring discourses and guidance based on a rare 1,200-year-old astrological tradition, will provide spiritual counsel on family, marital, business, and personal life challenges.
Many devotees have shared that they experienced positive transformation and meaningful guidance through his blessings and teachings. On July 12, the programme will commence with Navkarsi at 6:30 am, followed by a Grand Procession (Shobha Yatra) from Pushpanjali Enclave, Pitampura, at 7:45 am, Dharma Sabha and auspicious discourses by the revered Gurudevs at 9:00 AM, and conclude with Sangh Swami Vatsalya at 11:45 am.
