IRFC launches Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 drive

Indian Railway Finance Corporation Limited (IRFC), a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways on Thursday launched its ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2026’ campaign, reaffirming its commitment to cleanliness, environmental responsibility and a healthy and well-organised environment.
The campaign was launched in the august presence of Manoj Kumar Dubey, Chairman & Managing Director, IRFC, at the board room of the Corporation.
The programme included a Swachhata Pledge, plantation drive and signature campaign, symbolising the collective commitment of IRFC employees towards cleanliness and environmental sustainability. The month-long campaign will be undertaken from 02 October to 31 October 2026 across IRFC. During the campaign, employees and departments will actively participate in cleaning and organising their surroundings, improving hygiene, promoting responsible waste management and undertaking activities aimed at creating a cleaner and greener environment.
Speaking on the occasion, Manoj Kumar Dubey, Chairman and Managing Director, IRFC, emphasised that Swachhata should not remain limited to a campaign , but should become an integral part of everyday life. He called upon all employees to actively participate in the initiative and contribute towards creating a clean, organised and environmentally responsible environment.
The CMD also highlighted the importance of collective participation, discipline and individual responsibility in making the Swachhata campaign meaningful and sustainable. He encouraged employees to adopt cleanliness as a continuous practice and contribute towards maintaining clean and green surroundings.
The Signature Campaign organised as part of the initiative reflects the collective resolve of IRFC employees to contribute towards the objectives of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’. The Plantation drive further reinforces IRFC’s commitment to environmental sustainability and greener surroundings.
The campaign carries forward the spirit of “Swachhata Hi Seva - Collective Action for Visible Impact”, encouraging employees to translate the message of cleanliness into visible and sustained action.
Through the campaign, IRFC aims to strengthen a culture of cleanliness, environmental consciousness, discipline and collective responsibility, contributing towards a cleaner, greener and more sustainable environment.
