IIIPI organises workshop on cross-border insolvency

The Indian Institute of Insolvency Professionals of ICAI (IIIPI) has organised a workshop on cross-border insolvency resolution and model laws.

Experts from the European Union, UK, Singapore, Australia and various entities participated in the workshop, a release said on Sunday.

At the virtual workshop held on Saturday, Anita Shah Akella, joint secretary at the corporate affairs ministry, stressed the importance of designing guidelines for cross-border insolvency, according to a release.

IIIPI is promoted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
