HCL, EIL ink pact for copper & critical minerals

Building on their long-standing partnership, Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) and Engineers India Limited (EIL) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on Monday.
Under this agreement, HCL will engage EIL for comprehensive consultancy, engineering, project management, safety and integrity studies, sustainability frameworks, and advanced technical solutions. These services will primarily focus on copper, critical minerals, and rare earth elements, supporting HCL’s expansive, vertically integrated operations that span from mineral exploration and end-to-end mining to smelting, refining, and downstream extraction.
The MoA was formalised at EIL’s corporate office in New Delhi in the presence of HCL Chairman and Managing Director Sanjiv Kumar Singh, alongside EIL’s top management and senior officials from both organisations.
