Haryana minister grants Rs 21 lakh to Gurjar Bhawan
On the occasion of the 13th Foundation Day of Gurjar Bhawan, a grand function was organised by the community at the Gurjar Dharamshala. Haryana Minister of State Rajesh Nagar attended the event as the chief guest and announced a grant of Rs 21 lakh from his discretionary fund for construction work at the dharamshala. He also laid the foundation stone for another construction project worth Rs 21 lakh, to be undertaken by the Municipal Council.
The minister was welcomed by BJP district president Jyoti Saini and representatives of the Gurjar community. Addressing the gathering, Rajesh Nagar said that the newly developed infrastructure would provide better facilities for social, cultural, and educational activities, giving a new direction to the functioning of Gurjar Bhawan. Appreciating the quality of the dharamshala, he described it as one of the finest community buildings. He urged members of the community to prioritise their children’s education, emphasising that sustainable development is possible only through education.
Nagar stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana Government is working for the welfare of every section of society. He highlighted that young people are now securing Government jobs on merit, without the need for recommendations or bribery, and encouraged students to focus on their education to build a secure future.
Former Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar also addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of community unity. He said that institutions such as Gurjar Bhawan would play a significant role in the overall development of the community. Former MLA Leela Ram and Chairman of the Livestock Development Board Ashok Sirsi also present on the occasion.
