GDA showcases Ghaziabad’s development vision at UP International trade show
The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is showcasing the city’s ongoing transformation and future growth potential at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS)-2026, being held at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, from September 25 to 29.
Through an attractively designed exhibition stall, GDA has presented a comprehensive picture of Ghaziabad’s ongoing and proposed development projects, highlighting planned urban expansion, modern infrastructure, improved connectivity, residential development, sports facilities, green spaces and urban beautification.
The fourth edition of UPITS-2026 provides a major platform to showcase Uttar Pradesh’s industrial strength, development potential, and investment opportunities to visitors, investors, and international delegates. According to official information, the event features more than 2,400 exhibitors, over 550 international buyers and participation from 85 countries.
HarNandiPuram: A New Chapter in Planned Urban Development
The ambitious HarNandiPuram Residential Scheme occupies a prominent place in GDA’s exhibition. Proposed across approximately 501 hectares, the scheme envisages well-planned residential sectors supported by a network of roads, green spaces, parks, civic amenities and improved connectivity.
International Cricket Stadium to Strengthen Ghaziabad’s Sports Infrastructure
The proposed International Cricket Stadium in Raj Nagar Extension is another key attraction at the GDA stall. GDA has prepared a preliminary design and cost assessment for the proposed stadium, while the process of joint development between GDA and the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) is also being pursued.
Hapur Chungi Flyover to Enhance Traffic Connectivity
Improving traffic movement and strengthening urban connectivity are key priorities in GDA’s infrastructure plans. The proposed four-lane flyover and service/slip roads at Hapur Chungi have therefore been prominently featured at the exhibition. GDA is also showcasing its initiatives to create new recreational, cultural and knowledge-based public spaces. These include Anand Vatika, Viksit Bharat Experience Park, Sanskriti Darshan Park and the Ramayana-themed Park/Anand Vatika.
GDA’s vision is centred on planned urban expansion, enhanced connectivity, sustainable and green development, improved civic infrastructure and modern public amenities. Through its participation in UPITS-2026, GDA is presenting Ghaziabad’s development journey and future opportunities to visitors, investors and delegates from across India and around the world.
