GAIL CMD Deepak Gupta hoists National Flag at corporate office

Deepak Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, GAIL, hoisted the National Flag at GAIL Corporate Office, New Delhi, on the occasion of Independence Day.

Ayush Gupta, Director (HR), Sanjay Kumar, Director (Marketing), Rajeev Kumar Singhal, Director (Business Development), SK Sinha, Director Finance, Rajnesh Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer and senior officials and employees, along with their families, were present on the occasion. In a deeply evocative moment, employees joined voices to sing Vande Mataram, commemorating 150 years of the timeless national song, followed by the National Anthem.

Addressing the gathering, Deepak Gupta highlighted GAIL’s significant role in India’s nation-building journey and emphasised the importance of energy as a foundation for economic growth and national development and added that with a diversified LNG portfolio, GAIL is reinforcing India’s energy resilience amid shifting global dynamics and growing geopolitical challenges.

Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said, “GAIL is not merely an energy company; it is an important partner in nation-building. Energy is not just a business-it is the foundation of a nation’s progress.”
