Farmer’s daughter to Asian gold: Muskan Antil felicitated
By Pioneer News Service

Muskan Antil of Khevda village, Sonipat, who won 5000m gold at the 22nd Asian Masters Athletics, was felicitated in the national capital by International Ramlila Festival Association president and social activist Dr Ved Tandon.
Muskan hails from a farming family with two acres of land. Her father Mukesh Antil and mother Kavita Devi backed both Muskan and her brother Sumit in sports despite limited resources. The siblings trained at Sonipat Stadium under coach Sandeep Sharma, who was also honoured.
Sumit’s career ended due to a knee injury and lack of funds for treatment. The family then focused on Muskan’s training.
