Educate Girls marks 18th foundation day in Lucknow, lauds Govt schemes for girls education

Educate Girls celebrated its 18th foundation day here on Monday, spotlighting its grassroots efforts to boost girls’ education across communities.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak praised Government initiatives like Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and Mission Shakti for enhancing access to education for the girl child.

CEO Gayatri Nair Lobo credited the organisation’s success to dedicated volunteers and key partnerships that have driven real change on the ground.

The event drew over 300 stakeholders, who heard inspiring success stories from Team Balika volunteers working tirelessly to enrol out-of-school girls, curb dropouts and dismantle social barriers — reinforcing Educate Girls’ unwavering commitment to girl empowerment through education.
