Digital creator Nidhi Tiwari found dead
The death of Nidhi Tiwari, a popular digital content creator from the Vindhya region, has left her large social media following in shock. Tiwari, 30, was found dead at her residence in the Bhusa Mod area on Saturday. She had built a substantial online presence, with about 9.28 lakh followers on Facebook and 7.12 lakh on Instagram.
Family members took her to a hospital after finding her, but doctors declared her dead. Police have registered a case and are examining the circumstances surrounding her death.
Tiwari had established herself as a prominent social media personality through regular posts and videos that attracted a large audience. Her content received thousands of reactions and some of her videos were viewed millions of times. She was also pursuing opportunities in modelling and acting.
In 2024, she won the ‘Miss Pretty India’ title, an achievement that further boosted her public profile. According to people familiar with her, she aspired to establish herself in the entertainment industry and remained involved in modelling events and digital content creation.
Her family has told police that she had been speaking to someone over the phone on Saturday evening. Police are examining this and other circumstances preceding her death, but officials have cautioned against attributing any specific reason to the incident until the investigation is complete.
Morwa police station in-charge Dr Gyanendra Singh said investigators were collecting information from her family members, acquaintances and others connected with the case. Call records, digital activity and other relevant evidence are also being examined to establish the sequence of events before her death.
The news of Tiwari’s death prompted an outpouring of grief across social media. Followers posted tributes recalling her online presence, modelling journey and achievements, while messages expressing shock and condolences continued to appear on her social media accounts.
