Delhi Tughlakabad Fire: 3 Dead, several injured after massive blaze in residential building

A major fire broke out in a multi-storey residential building in Delhi’s Tughlakabad Extension during the early hours of Friday, claiming three lives and leaving several others injured. The blaze reportedly started in the ground-floor parking area and quickly spread through the five-storey building, trapping residents inside.
According to officials, the deceased include a 22-year-old man and two women, while at least eight people were shifted to hospitals for treatment. Delhi Fire Services personnel rescued multiple residents and brought the fire under control after an extensive operation.
Authorities said six people were rescued from the building and rushed to nearby hospitals with the help of emergency services. Two of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and an investigation has been launched. The incident comes amid growing concerns over fire safety standards in residential and commercial buildings across the national capital.
