Delhi Police personnel injured during clashes while dispersing CJP protesters

Several Delhi Police personnel were injured during clashes with protesters as security forces attempted to disperse participants of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)'s "Chalo Sansad" march in central Delhi on Monday. The confrontation broke out after protesters allegedly tried to breach police barricades and move towards Parliament despite restrictions in place during the Monsoon Session.
According to police, some protesters resorted to stone-pelting, injuring several officers deployed for law and order duties. Security personnel responded by using tear gas and mild force to disperse the crowd and prevent demonstrators from advancing further. Several protesters were also detained during the operation. CJP leaders, however, alleged that police used excessive force against participants and accused authorities of assaulting peaceful demonstrators.
The protest was organised to demand action on issues including alleged irregularities in competitive examinations and other public concerns. The clashes prompted heightened security across central Delhi, with barricades, traffic restrictions and increased police deployment around Parliament and nearby government buildings. Authorities continue to monitor the situation, while political leaders from both the government and the Opposition have reacted to the developments.
