Delhi jewellery and gem fair 2026 begins

Lok Sabha MP Praveen Khandelwal on Saturday inaugurated the 14th edition of the three-day Delhi Jewellery & Gem Fair (DJGF) 2026, organised by Informa Markets.

Khandelwal stressed the need for upskilling the manpower and adoption of newer technologies in the jewellery sector. He noted the sector’s export potential and highlighted that rising gold prices are reshaping consumer demand toward lightweight, design-driven, and studded jewellery while strengthening the push from “Vocal for Local” to global competitiveness.

The MP also underscored Free Trade Agreements' potential in pitching India’s ambitious targets toward a $100 billion export and a $30 trillion economy by 2047.

The DJGF has brought together over 650 exhibitors, 3,000-plus jewellery brands and more than 150,000 designs under one roof. The event is witnessing participation from jewellery manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, distributors, exporters and allied industry professionals from across India.
