Delhi hip-hop comes home

Delhi’s hip-hop scene took centre stage as MC Square and Paradox returned to the city for Hustle 5 -Apna Homeground, this time as Squad Bosses rather than contestants. The season is led by Badshah as Rap Supremo and EPR as OG Squad Boss, with MC Square, Paradox and Agsy joining the panel after making their own early mark on the show. The two rappers revisited the streets, food and musical influences that shaped their early years, while spending time with fans and emerging performers.

“Delhi NCR has always been a big part of my story,” said MC Square, recalling the city as the place where he found “my inspiration, my sound and the people who believed in me.” Meeting young artists, he added, brought back “that same hunger I had when I was starting.”

Paradox called Delhi central to his identity: “A lot of who I am as an artist comes from Delhi-the people, the energy, the music and the experiences that shaped me.
