D Show sets benchmark for India’s diamond trade

The International Gemological Institute (IGI) has once again raised the bar for India’s diamond and jewellery industry with the successful conclusion of the 23rd edition of its flagship IGI D Show. The three-day event was held from June 11 to 13, under the evocative theme "Blueprint of Brilliance."
Cementing its stature as one of the most influential buyer-seller meets in the country, the show brought together 45 diamond manufacturers and more than 180 retailers from across India under one roof, creating a vibrant, high-energy marketplace designed for serious business and meaningful growth.
The event once again demonstrated the D Show’s unique ability to connect the finest minds and craftspeople in the industry. Leading retail brands, including Senco Gold & Diamonds and JOS Alukkas, participated alongside manufacturers representing the best of India’s diamond jewellery craftsmanship.
The show floor featured several premium jewellery creations — from couture collections and fancy-shaped diamond masterpieces to contemporary retail favourites — offering buyers an unparalleled range to explore and procure.
Speaking on the occasion, Tehmasp Printer, MD & Global CEO of IGI, said, "The IGI D Show has always been about elevating the quality of business and relationships within our industry, and this edition was no different."
Since its inception in 2011, the IGI D Show has evolved into a premier platform for the Indian diamond trade. By establishing the D Show, IGI has facilitated a space where business owners can plan, curate, and diversify their collections — particularly in bridal jewellery — in the interest of serving a wider array of clientele. The 2026 edition underscored a growing momentum in India’s domestic diamond retail market.
