CM Yogi Adityanath to visit Ayodhya amid Ram Temple Donation fund controversy

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to visit Ayodhya today amid ongoing investigations into allegations of irregularities and misuse of donation funds linked to the Ram Temple.
The visit comes at a time when a Special Investigation Team (SIT), constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government, is probing claims of misappropriation of donations made by devotees at the Ram Temple. The SIT has already begun its inquiry and questioned individuals associated with the management of temple funds.
According to reports, the Chief Minister is expected to review developments related to the temple complex and hold discussions with officials during his visit. The tour has drawn significant attention as political parties and social groups continue to demand transparency in the handling of temple donations.
The controversy intensified after allegations surfaced regarding the handling of offerings and donation collections at the Ram Temple. Opposition leaders have called for an independent or judicial probe, while the state government has maintained that the SIT investigation will establish the facts.
Recent reports also indicate that certain administrative decisions have been taken concerning the temple trust's functioning as authorities seek to ensure accountability and smooth management during the ongoing investigation.
The Ram Temple remains one of the country's most prominent religious sites, and the outcome of the investigation is being closely watched by devotees, political leaders and the public alike.
