CBSE opens re-evaluation and answer book verification window till June 6th

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the online application window for students seeking verification of marks, scanned copies of answer books, and re-evaluation of their Class 12 board exam results.
The facility will remain available from June 2 to June 6, giving students an opportunity to review their evaluated answer sheets and request corrections if they believe there are discrepancies in the marking process.
The move comes after concerns were raised by students and parents regarding the board’s new digital evaluation system.
CBSE has stated that the re-evaluation portal is designed to ensure greater transparency and provide a smoother post-result process.
Students who have already obtained scanned copies of their answer books can apply for re-evaluation through the official portal.
The board has also introduced a more streamlined online system to help students verify marks, check for totaling errors, and request rechecking of specific answers.
Education experts have advised students to carefully review their answer sheets before applying for re-evaluation.
CBSE expects the process to improve confidence in the examination system while ensuring that students receive fair and accurate results.
