CBSE Class 12 result 2026 expected today after 12 PM

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 12 board examination results for 2026 anytime today, with students eagerly awaiting the activation of the result link on official platforms.
More than 18 lakh students who appeared for the examination are waiting for their scorecards. While CBSE has not officially confirmed the exact declaration time, past trends indicate that the results are likely to be released between 12 PM and 4 PM.
Students will be able to check their results on the official websites once announced:
- results.cbse.nic.in
- cbse.gov.in
The results will also be available on DigiLocker, the UMANG app, SMS services and IVRS facilities to help students access their scorecards smoothly during heavy traffic.
Recently, both DigiLocker and UMANG displayed “coming soon” notifications for the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026, indicating that the declaration may happen shortly.
According to previous years’ trends, CBSE generally releases Class 12 results around May 12 or May 13. Last year, the board declared the results on May 13.
This year, CBSE evaluated answer sheets using the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, under which scanned answer sheets were digitally assessed online. Officials, however, dismissed concerns that the new evaluation process would delay the results.
Students are advised to keep their roll number, school number and admit card ID ready to avoid last-minute issues while checking the results online.
