Book on value and peace education released

The book “Value and Peace Education: Future Roadmap” by Ranchi University Vice Chancellor Prof Saroj Sharma was released on Tuesday by IP University Vice Chancellor Dr Mahesh Verma.

On this occasion, Dr Verma said that as today’s social fabric is going through a transitional period, the importance of such a book increases. He said that human and social values are eroding rapidly, due to which the concept of “peace” is under threat across the world. I hope this book will succeed in establishing human values in people and conveying the message of peace.

Prior to this, Prof Sharma had written more than half a dozen well-known books on subjects including “Bharatiya Gyan Parampara”. Before Ranchi University, Prof Sharma had also served as Chairperson of NIOS.
