BJP Govt best positioned to develop Jharkhand: Nabin

BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Sunday said the party, under its leadership and with the support of dedicated workers, was best positioned to ensure the development and progress of Jharkhand.
He said Jharkhand’s people had earlier supported the BJP and credited the party with playing a key role in the creation of the State.
“Looking at the current situation, it appears that only the leadership and dedicated workers of the BJP are best positioned to ensure the development and progress of Jharkhand,” Nabin told reporters here.
He was on a two-day visit to the state and participated in several organisational events during his stay.
Nabin said the State remained a stronghold of the BJP and expressed confidence that the party would return to power in the State.
“I met party workers during various programmes, and the enthusiasm with which they engaged with us makes me believe that Jharkhand will herald a bright future for the BJP. We will succeed in strengthening the party’s roots here,” he said.
During the day, he chaired a joint meeting with state BJP president Aditya Sahu, district presidents, in-charges, and State-level teams at the party headquarters in Ranchi.
Addressing the meeting, Nabin said the current organisational structure has been prepared with an eye on the 2029 elections.
“This team will lead the upcoming elections. Taking lessons from past elections, every party worker must gear up for 2029 right away,” he said, according to a party statement.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’, he said the goal of a developed India could be achieved only through strengthening the organisation at the booth level and ensuring full commitment from party workers.
Nabin also visited the residence of his maternal aunt, Shobha Sinha, following her death on Sunday morning, and expressed condolences to the bereaved family. He also planted a tree in her memory under the party’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign.
