Basketball Court inaugurated at De Paul School in Manipur

The Indian Army inaugurated a Basketball Court at De Paul School, Punipfosemai in Senapati District, Manipur on April 7 to promote sports culture, encouraging youth participation in constructive activities and strengthening community engagement. The court is equipped with standard infrastructure and essential safety features, and is expected to serve as a hub for local sporting activities, training sessions and competitive events. The facility will provide a valuable platform for aspiring players to hone their skills and pursue excellence. The facility, developed under Operation Sadbhavana, has been established as part of outreach initiatives to support youth development and provide improved sporting infrastructure in the region, reflecting the continued commitment of the Army towards fostering physical fitness, teamwork and discipline among the youth, while also contributing to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle in the North East.
