Andhra Pradesh gets additional Rs 4,597 crore in central tax share; Naidu thanks Modi, Sitharaman

Andhra Pradesh has received an additional Rs 4,597 crore as its share of central taxes, with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday, August 1st, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the allocation.
The additional amount was released along with the regular monthly tax devolution to states, Naidu said.
He said the funds would help accelerate development programmes and provide further momentum to the state's growth initiatives.
"The additional allocation of Rs 4,597 crore as Andhra Pradesh's share in central taxes, released along with the regular monthly tax devolution, will further accelerate development programmes in the state," Naidu said in a post on X.
"On behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh, I thank PM Modi and Sitharaman for their continued support," he added.
Naidu said the Centre's continued support for Andhra Pradesh's development was contributing significantly to the state's progress.
