Adani Group may settle US SEC case outside court
By Pioneer News Service

The legal proceedings initiated by the United States market regulator against billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar Adani may move toward an out-of-court settlement, according to reports citing legal and policy sources familiar with the matter.
The case, originally filed in November 2024 by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, relates to allegations linked to bribery and fraud in connection with securing power-related contracts. Reports indicate that discussions between the regulator and the Adani Group have entered an advanced stage and a formal settlement framework could be announced later this month.
